If you go into a mobile phone shop you may have noticed at a Visa Electron Debit Card is normally not acceptable for use and will be rejected. Therefore you will not be able to apply for a contract phone.

A Visa Electron card is a limited version of a Visa Debit card. It’s got many uses, such as you can use it at the ATM and even make purchases with it at many retail stores around the country. However it also has it’s limitations. For example, some shops and companies around the UK refuse to accept it as a form of payment and it may not be suitable for the purposes of credit check and identity check when it comes to credit agreements.
